Phil Ivey: Professional Poker Player

Phil Ivey :
Professional Poker Player

Originally, Phil Ivey is from California but lives in Atlantic City , and has been playing professional Poker for 10 years.

Phil Ivey is an extremely aggressive poker player, which most fans and players dislike. Still, for someone only in his 20’s, he’s made quite a name for himself in the Poker community.

This professional poker playergives his famous stare-downs to his opponents to get them to think that he has the upper hand, hoping that they will fold.

Often, this occurs at the wrong time and Phil Ivey gets caught in his bluff, however, most of the time you will find him with a giant stack of chips. His greatest strengths are 7 Card Stud and No-Limit Hold’em Poker.

In 2003, Phil Ivey placed 10th in the World Series of Poker, 3rd in the World Poker Tour Championship and 2nd in the World Poker Open. Although he hasn’t won the WSOP or WPT yet, we expect this professional poker player will one day, and has already earned his seat at the Poker All-Star Final Table.
