
Layne Flack was born in South Dakota
, but lived most of life in Montana . From childhood,
he started playing poker, learning the game from his
grandparents.
Like most players, he has had his share
of ups and downs. One example is, after winning a
sizeable amount of money, as a professional poker player, from a tournament, he ended
up losing a good chunk of it in a side game.

holds 5 WSOP bracelets, 2 of which ($2000 No Limit
Hold'em and $1,500 No Limit) he won at the 2002 championship,
where he earned his nickname "Back To back Flack".
He has also made appearances in the WPT.
