Doyle Bruson: Poker Super Star

In the 1950s in Texas , poker super star Doyle Brunson made the transition
from smalltime poker games at colleges to the higher
payoff private games in the "underground circuits",
located in some of the toughest areas of the city.
Teamed up and on the road with Amarillo Slim, they
would practice and plan strategies together, dealing
hand after hand for hours on end, for there were no
books on poker to learn strategies from, and no computers
to do odds calculations with.
It wasn't until after getting married,
having kids and settling down, that poker super star Doyle Brunson decided to move to Las Vegas . One big contributing factor to this
move was the ever decreasing invitations to poker
tournaments due to the fact that he almost always won.
Since then, Doyle Brunson has
won the WSOP twice, and with the same hand believe
it or not, a full house 10s-2s.
